Blue Line Police Foundation Supports Rahway Officer’s Family After Devastating House Fire
In April 2026, a Rahway police officer, his wife who works as a nurse, their 10-month-old daughter, and their family dog narrowly escaped a fast-moving house fire that completely destroyed their Howell Township home. The family, who have always been there for others through their professional service, lost everything in the blaze — their home, all personal belongings, and essential items for their young child. Suddenly, without a place to stay, they faced the overwhelming emotional and financial toll of rebuilding their lives from scratch, especially with an infant to care for.
True to its mission, the Blue Line Police Foundation stepped in to provide support and presented a donation check to the family to help ease their burden, and to give this deserving family a foundation on which to start anew.
We are proud to stand by the men and women in blue and their families, especially in a time of need.
